What do the amounts in the bank overview mean?

The difference between the bank balance, transaction balance and ledger balance.

Bank balance

This is the current balance reported by the bank through the connection. The time of the latest update determines how recent it is.

From transactions

This balance follows from the transactions retrieved by Van Passe. If it differs from the bank balance, a transaction may still be missing or in transit.

In the ledger

This is the bank account balance in your bookkeeping. A difference from the transaction balance is not automatically an error: transactions may still be waiting for processing or a supporting document.

Foreign currencies

Accounts in another currency are not simply added to euro balances. The total may therefore differ from a basic sum of all visible accounts.
