More than a percentage
The VAT code determines the tax treatment and the box in which an amount appears on the return. The percentage alone is not enough.
Same percentage, different outcome
A domestic purchase, a supply from another EU country and a reverse-charged service can show the same percentage but do not belong in the same part of the return.
